Bedtime Milk with Ginger & Nutmeg

Serves: 1


* 1 cup whole organic milk, rice milk, almond milk, or soy milk (depending on constitution)
* 1/2 tsp minced fresh ginger
* 1-2 strands of saffron
* 1 large pinch fresh ground nutmeg


1. Add the minced ginger to the milk and bring the milk to a boil without burning it. Remove from heat and strain.
2. Stir in the nutmeg and the honey.
3. Sip while still hot, about 30 minutes before bedtime.
