Carolyn's passion for Ayurveda began over 10 years ago when she purchased "A Beginner's Introduction to Ayurvedic Medicine" by Vivek Shanbhag. She received certification as an Ayurvedic Practitioner from the Ayurvedic Academy in the same year that she completed her Bachelor's degree in Nutrition at Bastyr University. Following her determination to incorporate Ayurvedic practices into her daily life, she followed with massage training at Brennecke School of Massage (now Cortiva Institute) to provide hands-on therapy for her clients. She enjoys working in the Issaquah community hopes to introduce many newcomers to the Ayurvedic healing arts.
