Bedtime Milk with Ginger & Nutmeg
Serves: 1
Ingredients
- 1 cup whole organic milk, rice milk, almond milk, or soy milk (depending on constitution)
- 1/2 tsp minced fresh ginger
- 1-2 strands of saffron
- 1 large pinch fresh ground nutmeg
Preparation
- Add the minced ginger to the milk and bring the milk to a boil without burning it. Remove from heat and strain.
- Stir in the nutmeg and the honey.
- Sip while still hot, about 30 minutes before bedtime.
