Bedtime Milk with Ginger & Nutmeg

Serves: 1

Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole organic milk, rice milk, almond milk, or soy milk (depending on constitution)
  • 1/2 tsp minced fresh ginger
  • 1-2 strands of saffron
  • 1 large pinch fresh ground nutmeg

Preparation

  1. Add the minced ginger to the milk and bring the milk to a boil without burning it. Remove from heat and strain.
  2. Stir in the nutmeg and the honey.
  3. Sip while still hot, about 30 minutes before bedtime.
