* 1 cup pure water
* 1 tsp fresh grated ginger root
* 1/4 tsp honey (optional)
* 1 tiny pinch cardamom
* 1 pinch turmeric
* 1 pinch black pepper
1. Bring the water to a boil.
2. Add ginger, cardamom, turmeric and black pepper, turn off heat, cover and steep for 5 minutes.
3. Strain, stir in the honey and enjoy warm.
