Reiki Certification Course - Level II
 Level II, also a one-day class from 9am to 5pm, will be taught by Reiki Master Keesha Ewers on the following dates at the Fern Life Center Yurt: May 6, 2012

Cost: When taken separately, Reiki I and Reiki II classes are $200 each, with a $100 nonrefundable deposit; when you register for both classes together, the cost is a total of $350.00 with a $150.00 non-refundable deposit. Tuition includes your textbook.

Advanced Reiki Training (ART)

Advance Reiki Training is taught on the first day of the 3-day intensive that includes Reiki III/Master Training. It may be taken separately. This 3-day intensive is taught by Reiki Master Keesha Ewers. The next ART/ReikiIII/Master Training course will be offered on the following dates at the Fern Life Center Yurt: September 29

Cost: You must take ART if you want to take Reiki III/Master training.
The ART portion (first day of the 3-day intensive) is  $225.00 with a $75.00 non-refundable deposit. Tuition includes your textbook.

Reiki III/Master Training

This is the second and third day of the three-day intensive. For a detailed description, see below. If you have already taken ART, you may take the Reiki III/Master Training separately (on the second and third day of the 3-day intensive). Again, the next ART/ReikiIII/Master Training course will be offered on the following dates at the Fern Life Center Yurt: September 30th

Cost: The Reiki III/Master Training portion (days 2 and 3 of the 3-day intensive) is $650.00 with a $200.00 non-refundable deposit.

Note: The total cost of the 3-day intensive is $875 with a $275.00 non-refundable deposit.

What is Reiki?

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy," (known as Ki in Japanese and Prana in Sanskrit and Chi in Chinese) flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki which is "life force energy". So Reiki is actually "spiritually guided life force energy."

A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing. Many have reported miraculous results.

0What is Reiki? A Brief OvervieReiki is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can use. It has been effective in helping virtually every known illness and malady and always creates a beneficial effect. It also works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery.

The ability to use Reiki is not taught in the usual sense, but is transferred to the student during a Reiki class. This ability is passed on during an "attunement" given by a Reiki master and allows the student to tap into an unlimited supply of "life force energy" to improve one's health and enhance the quality of life.

Its use is not dependent on one's intellectual capacity or spiritual development and therefore is available to everyone. It has been successfully taught to thousands of people of all ages and backgrounds.

While Reiki is spiritual in nature, it is not a religion. It has no dogma, and there is nothing you must believe in order to learn and use Reiki. In fact, Reiki is not dependent on belief at all and will work whether you believe in it or not. Because Reiki comes from God, many people find that using Reiki puts them more in touch with the experience of their religion rather than having only an intellectual concept of it.

While Reiki is not a religion, it is still important to live and act in a way that promotes harmony with others. Dr. Mikao Usui, the founder of the Reiki system of natural healing, recommended that one practice certain simple ethical ideals to promote peace and harmony, which are nearly universal across all cultures.

Reiki Level I

Reiki I and II are taught together on the same weekend. Reiki I is taught on Saturday with level II following the next day. The attunements are given as well as:

  • The Reiki hand positions.
  • Giving a complete Reiki treatment for self and others.
  • Japanese Reiki Technique including: meditation, developing your intuition, detecting where Reiki is needed, sending Reiki with the eyes, using the breath to send Reiki, clearing ones energy field, and clearing objects of negative energy.
  • Using Reiki for specific conditions.
  • Using Reiki to heal unwanted habits.
  • Distance healing.

This workshop is lecture and hands-on practice!

Reiki II

On Sunday Reiki level II is taught following the previous day's instruction in level I. The attunements are given as well as:

  • The Reiki II symbols with the Reiki II attunement which will add power to your Reiki practice.
  • Giving a complete Reiki treatment for self and others.
  • Deepening the previous Japanese Reiki Techniques including: meditation, developing your intuition, detecting where Reiki is needed, sending Reiki with the eyes, using the breath to send Reiki, clearing ones energy field, and clearing objects of negative energy.
  • Using crystals in your Reiki practice.
  • Using Reiki for addictions.
  • Distance healing.

This workshop is lecture and hands-on practice!

Advanced Reiki Training

This is the first day of a three day intensive and includes:

• The Usui Master attunement which increases the strength of your Reiki energy.

• The Usui Master symbol which increases the effectiveness of the Reiki II symbols and can be used for healing.

• Reiki meditations that strengthen the mind and expand consciousness.

• Advanced techniques for using Reiki to solve problems and achieve goals.

• The use of crystals and stones with Reiki.

• How to make a Reiki grid that will continue to send Reiki to yourself and others after it is charged.

• Reiki psychic surgery that allows you to remove negative psychic energy from yourself and others and send it to the light.

• A guided meditation that introduces you to your Reiki guides wherein you receive healing and information.

You must take ART if you want to take Reiki III/Master training. This class is taught with Reiki III as a three day intensive.

Cost: $225.00 with a $75.00 non-refundable deposit

Reiki III/Master Training

This is the second part of the three day intensive and includes:

• The complete Reiki III Usui/Tibetan Master attunement.

• Instruction on how to give Reiki attunements for Reiki I&II and ART and full Reiki Master.

• A Healing attunement.

• The Usui system of attunements is taught as well as the Usui/Tibetan system.

• Two Tibetan symbols are given for a total of six.

• Lots of practice time doing attunements.

• How to give yourself attunements.

• Advanced Reiki meditations that harmonize the energy of the chakras.

• The values and spiritual orientation of a true Reiki Master.

Instruction is given on the Usui system of attunements as well as the Tibetan system. Other variations are also outlined in the class manual. Over half the class time is used for practice so the student becomes confident in administering Reiki attunements. Students practice giving attunements on each other so that each student receives many attunements. The Healing attunement is given and received by all students. A class manual is included that gives detailed steps for giving all the attunements. This class is a powerful healing experience.
